Talbot Surveys Inc. is a private surveying company based in Timmins, Ontario owned and operated by Guy Talbot. Established in 1996 and incorporated in 2000, Talbot Surveys has provided Timmins and the surrounding area with land and civil survey services for the mining, construction and forestry industries.
Talbot Surveys employs 4-6 full time surveyors, office personnel, as well as students during summer months.
All surveyors are qualified Technologists current with WHIMIS and NORCAT safety programs. Safe working practice is part of our daily work practices and we do boast of a 0hr lost time since business inception in 1996.
Talbot Surveys is an active member of Cognibox. Being a small company we rely heavily on the safety programs offered by our clients and larger companies. We participate on a regular basis to safety site inductions and training offered by our clients.
Within our group we perform daily tail gate safety meetings as well as weekly Monday morning Safety discussions. We follow the NORCAT safety training provided by Northern College and remain current with the WHIMIS program. All of our employees are First Aid and CPR trained.
